Wild Tomato Pizza is one of our absolute favorite spots in Door County! Whether you dine there or take your pizza to enjoy elsewhere (like a sunset in Peninsula State Park) you’ll enjoy and handmade pizza, including the dough, that’s topped with delicious fresh ingredients, many of which are sourced locally. Both locations, the original in Fish Creek or their new location in Sister Bay, are fun, casual environments the whole family will enjoy…and both young & old get a kick out of the expert pizza dough tossing and spinning! Gravity Trails Ziplines at the Egg Harbor Fun Park is quite the thrill for parents and kids alike. Audrie was intimidated at first but their expert guides soon had her ready to climb up to the initial launch point and from there away we went! In addition to the zippiness there are quite a few other attractions including go-karts, mini-golf, bouncy houses and an indoor arcade. A great spot for a ton of family fun just south of Egg Harbor right on Hwy. 42 www.gravitytrails.com
Gibraltar Grill is a dynamite restaurant in a beautiful location that has excellent food, great service and even an electric cart to take you to or pick you up from downtown! They have live music 4 nights a week, indoor and outdoor seating (even blankets!) and a lovely bar. You won’t be disappointed! www.gibraltargrill.com
If you’re up for some on the water adventure then be sure to putDoor County Kayak Tours on your itinerary! They have a wide array of guided tours, are super friendly and helpful and their guides know just the right spots to take you to in order to see a side of Door County not visible from land! We went on the morning cave tour and really enjoyed it. The paddling was very easy and the views spectacular www.doorcountykayaktours.com
